Christian Eriksen is raring to go as he continued to get back to full fitness following his cardiac arrest with Denmark at Euro 2020.
The former Tottenham and Inter midfielder posted a video on Instagram showing him smashing a free-kick into the top corner of the net on a training pitch.

The attacking midfielder was released by Inter in December 2021 following Italy’s National Olympic Committee rules telling him a player with an ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) cannot play in the country.
Eriksen is currently training at Swiss side Chiasso and is available to sign for any other club outside of Italy.
Whilst he is still a while away from full fitness, he is showing the quality that won him the Serie A title in 2021 and that made him a fan favourite in north London.

The comments were also filled with messages of delight, which included one from former Tottenham teammates Jan Vertonghen and Kyle Walker-Peters, who both posted a heart-eyes emoji.
Clearly the Dane has still got it and with his target of playing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in mind, Eriksen has every chance of fulfilling his ‘dream’.
“My goal is to play in the World Cup in Qatar,” Eriksen told Danish broadcaster DR1 on January 4, 2022. “I want to play. That’s been my mindset all along.
“It’s a goal, a dream. Whether I’ll be picked is another thing. But it’s my dream to come back.
“I’m sure I can come back because I don’t feel… I don’t feel any different. Physically, I’m back in top shape.
“That’s been my goal and it’s still some time away, so until then I’m just going to play football and prove that I’m back at the same level.”

In order for Eriksen to be considered for the World Cup he would need to find himself a club and could be given his second chance at his old club Spurs.
His former Inter manager, Antonio Conte, said that a return to Tottenham is not off the cards.
“I think for Christian the door is always open.”
