Derek Chisora insists he will BEAT former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder if the pair should ever meet inside a ring.
The British boxing cult hero is coming off the back of three consecutive losses, with Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker triumphing over the brawler.

Chisora, a 44-fight veteran, first started fighting in 2007 and has shared a ring with some of the best heavyweights of this generation.
Vitali Klitschko, David Haye, Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte and the aforementioned Usyk and Parker have all faced the force of the London native, with former WBC heavyweight champion Wilder perhaps the only name missing from his CV.
‘The Bronze Bomber’ is also coming off the back of back to back losses; losing and then failing to regain his green and gold belt to Fury. As such, Matchroom Chairman Eddie Hearn touted a bout between the two men.
Although there are potential doubters given Chisora’s losing record and ineffectual record against elite heavyweights, the man himself told talkSPORT he would be excited to share the ring with the heavyweight many consider the hardest hitter in history.

“I think we’ve both come out of two losses, back-to-back,” he said. “I think why not? People are saying ‘why does he want to do that for?’ They’re not me. People are not built like me.
“The thing is, I will be honest with you, I want to fight everybody. When I hang it up I can say I fought everybody in my era and enjoyed it. I loved it, that’s what I want to do.
“I don’t want to duck and dive and suddenly at the end of my career saying ‘I wish I’d fought this guy’. No, I want to fight everybody right now.”
When asked if he could beat Wilder, Chisora said: “I don’t know, but yes I want to go for it 100 per cent. Yes, I will beat him.”
With a record of 32-12, Chisora is certainly not renowned as the greatest heavyweight of this generation, yet there are few who can claim to be a genuine champion of the people.
“I always say this, my world title for me is people recognising me on the streets,” he added. “That’s my world title – that’s all I love.
“I worked hard to get to the top. I used to box in York Hall. Now 20,000 people watching me, I don’t want to give that easy.
“I don’t really care about the title which comes with it. Your taxi man, bin man, general cleaner, as long as I walk in there and recognise me and say ‘that was a great fight’, that’s my world title.”
