Gerard Pique has been extremely entertaining to follow on social media over the past few days.
First, the defender responded to incorrect reports about his salary at Barcelona, and now he has taken aim at Villarreal manager Unai Emery.
Pique isn’t afraid to say how he feels on Twitter The row began when he replied to Valencia’s tweet, which criticised the referee in their game against Real Madrid
The Spanish boss wasn’t happy that Pique was posting his thoughts about the refereeing decisions in the Real Madrid vs Valencia game on social media.
Emery said in a press conference: “Pique yesterday took to Twitter to talk about refereeing in the match between Real Madrid and Valencia match.
“Instead of staying silent, you have to be honest and not deceive people.”
So, his comments about Pique tweeting meant Pique tweeted that Emery has a history of complaining about decisions.

He says that the former Arsenal boss has still been discussing refereeing calls from PSG’s 6-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League – three years after the defeat.
He tweeted: “This is a person who three years later was still complaining about the referee in the 6-1. Get over it, Unai.”
This comes just three days after he was involved in more controversy on Twitter.
Amid uncertain and troubling times in Catalonia, the centre-back has been accused of clearing €14million (£11.7m) a season, by television presenter Lluis Canut.
