On more than one occasion, UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has displayed his formidable punching power.

In 2019, the Cameroonian paid a visit to UFC Performance Institute where he created the world record for the hardest punch ever measured at 129,161 units.

He hits harder ‘than a speeding car’ and with a new Jackass movie being released on February 4, only they could think it was a good idea to get Ngannou to come along and punch a man – in the groin.

The 35-year-old spoke about his role in the film: “That’s the craziest thing that I’ve ever seen. Man, I had to punch somebody in the nuts, I did it the first time, [they’re like] ‘Listen man, we know you.

“People know that you’re the hardest puncher in the world. It wasn’t hard enough.’ I was like ‘Are you kidding me? Like, I’m nervous. I don’t know, I could hurt this guy, did he at least have kids or something already?”

Francis Ngannou punching you in the groin sounds like no more kids!

Imagine getting Nagnnou to punch you in your groin and then telling him it wasn’t hard enough…

He will need all of his punching power on January 22 at UFC 270 as he looks to hand Cyril Gane his first professional loss and become the undisputed heavyweight champion.

The last time Ngannou was inside the octagon was when he won the heavyweight title from Stipe Miocic last March. UFC boss Dana White wanted him to defend the title against Derek Lewis in Houston, Texas last August, but the date came too soon for Ngannou.

White then sanctioned an interim bout with hometown hero Lewis and Gane with the latter coming out on top.

Now the pair will meet to see who really is the heavyweight king of the world.

The Predator has won all of his last five fights via knockout with four of those coming inside the first round. His power is no joke.

This is also the last fight left on Ngannou’s UFC contract. If he wins, he’ll find himself in a powerful position to negotiate with White, a man he hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with when it comes to business.
