What are the current financial results after the acquisition of Club Moving Romania and what other changes brought this acquisition?

In March, following the acquisition of Club Moving fitness chain, World Class Romania expanded its offering to more than 45.000 members. (…) Our fitness network now offers access to 31 centers, 20 in Bucharest and 11 in the main cities of the country, such as: Cluj – Napoca, Timisoara, Iasi, Constanta, Otopeni, Ploiesti, Pitesti, Craiova and Bacau. As our process consists of yearly evaluations, we will have wrap-up results of 2016 only next year.

How many fitness centers does World Class have in Romania?

Our fitness network offers access to 31 fitness centers, 20 in Bucharest and 11 in the main cities of the country, such as: Cluj – Napoca (3), Timisoara (1), Iasi (1), Constanta (1), Otopeni (1), Ploiesti (1), Pitesti (1), Craiova (1) and Bacau (1).

Do you have more acquisition plans for 2017?

In 2017, we plan to continue the expansion of the network in order to offer our members a greater choice of fitness locations and also to continue the mission of improving the lifestyle of people in Romania.

Have you seen a change among Romanians in the last years regarding the fitness practice/ doing sport?

In the last 3 years the market has developed quite rapidly and this is mainly due to the increasing purchasing power of the clients and the demand for more high quality fitness facilities and equipment.

Furthermore, people have started to include fitness more and more into their lives. Nowadays, we can say that is a strong trend towards healthy living, which is driving the evolution of the whole fitness market.
