As football fans gear up for the winter transfer window, it doesn’t seem that long ago when clubs were celebrating new arrivals in the close season.

From Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United, Leon Bailey’s move to Aston Villa from the Bundesliga, and one of the Scottish Premier League’s stars Odsonne Edouard arriving in the Premier League, there were some great deals done in the summer.
