Telekom Sport is the new brand under which Telekom will bring sports events, including live broadcasts, sports news and talk shows.

Telekom Sport offers sports enthusiasts a whole package of premium competitions, anytime and anywhere, live, on TV, laptop, tablet and smartphone. The channel will broadcast all UEFA Champions League and Europa League matches, all the Liga 1 and La Liga matches, the exclusively broadcasted Premier League games, the FA Cup, the German and French Cup matches, the most important auto competitions (Formula 1, WRC, Formula E, Formula 2, GP 3 or Porsche Supercup), the most spectacular American championships (NFL, NBA and NHL), the Romanian handball and rugby competitions, both men’s and women’s, all the Romanian Rugby National Team matches, as well as the ATP circuit tournaments.

In December, exclusively in Romania, at Telekom Sport, sports fans will be able to watch the Women’s Handball World Championship, where Romania is among the favourites.

“At this moment, the sport content exclusivities, as well as the newly launched Telekom commercial offers this year, under the #Netliberare concept, position us as one of the most important players on this market.

Telekom Sport will include the name, as well as the values of a powerful brand locally and internationally. Our customers will more easily recognize and identify with what Telekom stands for in their homes, but also in other contexts and spaces, anytime, as our offers’ flexibility give them these options and benefits”, said Miroslav Majoros, CEO of Telekom Romania group of companies.Read more aboutAdrian Apostu (Dino Parc Râșnov): 2 million visitors represent a milestone that makes us both happy and responsible read more

We want to simplify the sports content related communications and to develop a closer brand association with Telekom and thus to strengthen the differentiator of Telekom’s offer on the Romanian market. Through a very attractive commercial offer based on quality multimedia content, we are confident that we will keep our promises to the customers by presenting quality programs and exclusive broadcasts from prestigious competitions”, explains Vlad Enachescu, General Manager Telekom Sport.
