This year we had our fair share of heartwarming moments in football that give us all a perspective on just how the sport can bring fans together; from tears, emotional tributes and great acts of kindness.

Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during Euro 2020 and the football community all pulled together to wish him well in his recovery. 

There were some magic moments this year

Marcus Rashford focused his influence on making a difference by raising money for child poverty, whilst also forcing the Government into u-turns over free school meals. 

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker scored a dramatic last minute winner against West Brom and dedicated the goal to his late father.
