DSV Solutions, which specialises in advanced warehouse logistics solutions, has leased a further 3,500 square metres of modern warehouse space at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre, owned by Goodman. This follows 15,000 square metres the company leased a year ago.

DSV’s new warehouse will be equipped with a temperature control system and a number of other dedicated improvements that will allow the company to effectively provide services to its customer from the pharmaceutical industry.

“We are pleased that our many years of experience in providing services for the pharmaceutical industry has resulted in the launch of another advanced project for a reputable manufacturer of modern drugs. This is another milestone in the development of our thriving Gdańsk branch,” said Piotr Wojtkowski, sales director at DSV Solutions.

The Pomeranian Logistics Centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the DCT Gdańsk deepwater container terminal – the largest and fastest growing facility of its type in Poland. The terminal has regular freight connections, including with major ports in Asia. The park is located nine kilometres from the centre of Gdańsk and 23 kilometres from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa International Airport as well as being within easy reach of the S6 and S7 expressways and the A1 motorway.

Ultimately, up to 500,000 square metres of logistics and production space with office facilities may be developed at the centre.
