Manchester United are through to the FA Cup fourth round but they were far from convincing in getting there.
The Premier League club laboured to a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, however, Steven Gerrard’s men had plenty of chances to score and were perhaps hard done by when Danny Ings’ second-half goal was disallowed following a lengthy VAR check.

It seems Ralf Rangnick’s men didn’t get the message fans at Old Trafford sent reminding them what’s expected of them.
As the two teams walked out onto the pitch, a banner with club legends Eric Cantona, Roy Keane and Bryan Robson captioned ‘Standards’ was displayed in suggestion that the expectations at Old Trafford had dropped in recent times.

And despite the win, they fell short of what fans would’ve wanted them to see, with Marcus Rashford particularly struggling in the match.
And United fan John believes it’s time Man United consider selling their former Boy Wonder.
“I think we’re no better than when Jose Mourinho was there,” John said on The Sports Bar.
“Villa deserved to win, they absolutely deserved it. They created chances, they bypassed our midfield time after time and we kept giving the ball away.
“Marcus Rashford, let’s talk about that guy. If he doesn’t want to play or work for the team, sell him and get him out of the club because his attitude stinks.”

Ally McCoist didn’t go as far to say that selling Rashford is an option, however, there’s clearly something wrong with the England star’s body language, commitment and confidence levels, according to the talkSPORT pundit.
“I’ve been saying for four weeks there’s something not right about Marcus Rashford,” McCoist told talkSPORT Breakfast. “You can tell by his body language, with the way he’s moving, everything.
“You’d hope from United and Rashford’s point of view that it’s a loss of form. A loss of form is acceptable because it happens but it looks like it’s more than that.
“His body language is all wrong, he doesn’t look as interested as he once was. He doesn’t look as committed, he certainly doesn’t look as confident and full of talent.

“I wouldn’t be overly concerned because it will come back but that needs to come back sooner rather than later.
“Marcus Rashford is at the stage where he has to sit down with the manager or the manager has to sit him down and say ‘what’s happening? What’s going on?’
“It looks to me than more than a loss of form. He looks as though he doesn’t want to be there, that may be a bit strong, but there’s definitely something going wrong there.”
However, Rangnick says doesn’t believe there are any underlying issues with his player.
He told talkSPORT after the match: “No, I don’t believe there are any issues but yes of course he would like to score goals.
“I thought in the last 10-15 minutes of his game he was involved, he could play on the wings as well as Mason’s [Greenwood] side and in the last 10 minutes I decided to substitute him for Anthony Elanga which I believe was the right decision. Anthony showed with his pace that he can be a threat.”
