Oana Zapca becomes Executive Director of SuperTeach Association

SuperTeach expands its management team with Oana Zapca, the new Executive Director of the Association. Oana Zapca took up this position on 15 November this year, after a career of over fifteen years in multinational companies, culminating in her role as Vice President of Ipsos Interactive Services, an organization with over 900 employees in Romania. A graduate of the M.B.A INDE program, with a master’s degree offered by CNAM Paris, in partnership with ASE Bucharest, Oana has held various management positions in companies and projects.

For the past three years, Oana Zapca has invested her time and experience as a life coach and manager in coaching and specialized trainings on various personal development topics. She is currently a certified SoulKids coach, career coach and life-coach, working with both adults and children to help them “find their motivation, increase their self-confidence and pursue their dreams in a pragmatic way”.

The SuperTeach Association has a community of over 30,000 teachers who have so far participated in the organization’s courses and events, promoting the outward mindset principles and education tools that they can apply in the classroom. The Association’s main goals for the next few years are to inspire 50,000 teachers through conferences and webinars, reach 20,000 graduate teachers of the Outward Mindset in Education Program, develop local SuperTeach communities in every county, and have at least one SuperTeach School in every county in Romania. Also, an important objective of the SuperTeach Association for the next period is to promote the teaching profession, making it one of the most desirable jobs for children in the country.

“Launched 4 years ago, the SuperTeach project has grown so beautiful. Earlier this year, we even got to the point where we founded an NGO dedicated to teachers. Basically, we are now making the leap from project to sustainable NGO and for this to happen we need a strong executive team dedicated to our mission. Oana’s experience and gifts give us confidence that together we will bring the spirit of SuperTeach to as many teachers as possible who want to develop themselves and build a country where children can grow with confidence and fulfilment”, says Felix Tataru, President of SuperTeach Association.Read more aboutAdrian Apostu (Dino Parc Râșnov): 2 million visitors represent a milestone that makes us both happy and responsible read more

Oana Zapca will coordinate the activity of the SuperTeach Association with the help of Ioana Deneș – Events Manager and Andrada Mazilu – Community Manager. Therefore, with the appointment of the new Executive Director, the SuperTeach Association enters a new phase of development, by increasing the number of teachers who will have access to The Outward Mindset in Education Program, by developing the local communities of the Association and by expanding the SuperTeach School project. October this year also marked the launching of the first ”SuperTeach School” at School No. 28 “Dan Barbilian” in Constanta. The “SuperTeach School” project means that tools for changing the mentality are applied at all levels and departments, for a period of 2 years. Thus, SuperTeach runs outward mindset courses with the school management, teachers, pupils, parents and non-teaching staff. All activities in this project are monitored and evaluated, measuring their impact on pupils and teachers. The “SuperTeach School” project will be implemented in other educational institutions in the country, with the support of the private sector, the Association’s objective being that in the next 5 years every county in the country will have at least one SuperTeach School.
