Paddy Pimblett scored another first round stoppage victory at UFC London.
The 27-year-old secured a knockout win last September on his debut and he locked in the guillotine choke this time around to defeat Rodrigo Vargas in their lightweight fight at UFC London.
Paddy the Baddy did it again and he celebrated accordingly
The rising star from Liverpool celebrated wildly in the octagon with team-mate Molly McCann, who was also victorious earlier in the evening.
Pimblett says he’s never in a boring fight and that was the case again here.
After an entrance that took the roof off The O2, the first round didn’t exactly start the way The Baddy imagined as Vargas smartly wrestled him down to the ground.
Briefly taking away Pimblett’s greatest weapons, Vargas was unable to keep the Liverpudlian down for too long but even on their feet, the Mexican smothered him against the cage.
With two minutes left in the round, Pimblett managed to reverse the pressure and mount Vargas’ back and that signalled the beginning of the end.
After wearing Vargas down with strikes, Pimblett was able to get his hooks in and finally Vargas had no choice but to tap out to the rear-naked choke.

The O2 Arena erupted as Pimblett rose to his feet and he vaulted the cage in celebration.
He ran over to UFC boss Dana White and had something to say after his quick victory.
Molly McCann joined her teammate in celebration as the card marked two sensational finishes for the duo.
McCann delivered a brutal spinning-back elbow just two fights before Pimblett performed to secure the first knock-out victory of her UFC career. It truly was a night for the Liverpudians.
In his post-fight interview, Pimblett joked he wanted to face Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg next and declared his ambition to fight at his beloved Liverpool’s home ground of Anfield.
Pure elation from the Liverpudlians

“Are you not entertained? I’m never ever in a boring fight, lad,” Pimblett declared to Michael Bisping after his second UFC victory.
“I needed a punch to get woken up. That was only a five or six out of ten, he caught me with a nice punch.”
On who is next, Pimblett said: “Who do I want to fight? Mark Zuckerberg.
“Lad I’m going to punch your head in, I am sick of you. Sick of you shutting my Instagram accounts down when all I do is help charities and help people with mental health problems.
“You’re the biggest bully in the world, lad.”
