Industrial real estate developer Panattoni Europe has launched a major new logistics project in Upper Silesia on a 80,000-square metre site.

The new site will is located close to Poland’s border with the Czech Republic, providing an alternative to the warehouse space market in Ostrava.

“Panattoni Park Żory is the first modern distribution centre in this location, which is already gaining a strategic status,” said Marek Dobrzycki, managing director at Panattoni Europe. “The proximity of the near-border infrastructure, and that of the Katowice Special Economic Zone/Jastrzębie-Żory Subzone, which is practically next door to the new Panattoni investment, as well as modern urban infrastructure, make Żory an excellent base for any undertaking”.

The facility will be suitable for warehousing and light manufacturing operations and upon completion, the buildings will comply with the highest environmental and energy standards.
