Cristiano Ronaldo’s return at Manchester United started off perfectly but has hit some rough patches since that momentous unveiling at Old Trafford.

Now PSG are favourites to sort a monumental transfer for Ronaldo after already scooping Lionel Messi in the summer transfer window.

Ronaldo receives a fair share of criticism as Manchester United have struggled their way through the season in a fairly disappointing seventh place in the table.

But it was reported this week that the Portuguese star could quit if the new manager that follows Ralf Rangnick isn’t compatible.

The 36-year-old is still putting in incredible performances where some may have already hung up their boots or moved to other leagues.

But now the bookies are favouring him to join the player he is so often compared against as the best in the world, Lionel Messi at PSG.

They are currently 3/1 on Paddy Power to sign the Portuguese star amid continual rumours of Kylian Mbappe’s imminent departure from PSG at the end of this season.

Not far behind though, are the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich at 4/1 who could have plenty of attacking options with Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski up front.

Paddy Power odds

  • PSG- 3/1
  • Bayern Munich – 4/1
  • Real Madrid – 7/1
  • Inter Miami – 12/1
  • LA Galaxy – 14/1

Ronaldo is also 7/1 to make a wild double return to Real Madrid which would see him return to La Liga four years after departing for Juventus in 2018.

He is also an outside chance at following in the footsteps of many legends that departed Europe to play in the MLS.

David Beckham’s Inter Miami are 12/1 while LA Galaxy where Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic moved to are the biggest outside gamble at 14/1.

We have seen numerous of the biggest names to ever play in the Premier League and the five big leagues jet off to the USA.

Wayne Rooney left for DC United, Didier Drogba at Montreal Impact, Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo to New York City, Kaka to Orlando City, and Thierry Henry to New York Red Bulls just to name a few.
