The Ninth Summit of the Americas will consider the theme, ‘Building a Sustainable, Resilient, and Equitable Future,’ and focus on the priorities and concerns identified by the people, institutions, and governments across the hemisphere, including the COVID-19 pandemic, threats to democracy, the climate crisis, and a lack of equitable access to economic, social, and political opportunities.
The Summit of the Americas brings together leaders from the countries of North, South, and Central America, and the Caribbean, and focuses on critical areas of cooperation of interest to all the countries in the Americas. The Ninth Summit will feature a Leaders Summit, the Ninth Civil Society Forum, the Sixth Young Americas Forum, and the Fourth CEO Summit of the Americas.
