Electric car manufacturer Tesla has announced that its Model 3, Model S and Model X cars can now be ordered by customers in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovenia.

Tesla’s move east follows the launch of its cars in the Czech Republic in May and the opening of service centres in Prague and Warsaw.

The expansion east will also be accompanied by the installation of superchargers across the emerging Europe region.

There are already thought to be several hundred Tesla’s on emerging Europe’s roads, bought by customers in third countries and shipped east.

The cheapest Model 3, which has a range of 537 kilometres and a top speed of over 200 kp/h, costs 53,800 euros.
