Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher took the opportunity to stick the boot into UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson prior to Brighton vs Crystal Palace on Friday night.
Speaking as pundits before the game, the pair sent a very clear message about the ongoing COVID lockdown party scandal.

Johnson apologised in the House of Commons earlier this week for attending a party in the Downing Street garden in May 2020, when the country was in lockdown.
He insisted that he ‘believed implicitly that this was a work event’.
The scandal has caused outcry across the country, now provoking a reaction from the Premier League legends on Friday night.
Neville began: “We get these Friday night football matches, Brentford won last time and it was absolutely fantastic.
“We always seem just to get a massive party.”

Carragher replied: “Let’s be straight though, this is not a party tonight, this is about work.
“If you speak to Graham Potter or Patrick Vieira, there’s 22 players on the pitch, they’ve got to know the difference between work and a party.
“If they get that wrong and think that they’re in party mode, they’re gonna be in big, big trouble.”
Presenter Dave Jones then said: “It feels like a political broadcast.”
All three of them laughed and Neville said: “Sue Gray will decide that.”
Carragher laughed concluded: “We’re watching you Prime Minister!”
